getting out onto Narooma's waters
Narooma has many public boat ramps launching onto both the inlet and ocean - while fishing enthusiasts can hire tinnies or take one the many guided inlet or ocean tours. It is also surrounded by lakes which lend themselves to water-skiing, kayaking and canoeing. Corunna Lake is particularly popular with the more energetic water-sport enthusiasts.

kayaking
Wagonga Inlet is perfect for kayaking. Fair weather kayakers can paddle lazily across the inlet and stop off for refreshments at one of the waterfront marina cafes. But the inlet stretches some 10km inland, providing serious kayakers with a workout in one of the most peaceful settings imaginable • kayak hire
There is also a strong sailing community in Narooma with the Narooma Sailing Club meeting weekly on the inlet in season. Visitors are welcome - contact
the club on 02 4476 2055. |
